Senior Accountant- Baltimore, MD

About The Company & Senior Accountant Opportunity
• Our repeat client is a non profit in the Baltimore area. Due to year end, they are hiring a Senior Accountant to join their accounting team on a contract to hire basis
• This person will work with a medium sized, tight knit accounting team
• Schedule: M-F 8am-4:30pm. Role is two days in office, three days work from home in Baltimore, MD
• Company offers free parking to its employees
• Reports directly to the Director of Finance
• Pay: $37-40/hour

Job Duties Of The Senior Accountant
• Perform bank reconciliations for 30 locations
• Reconcile and review credit card deposits
• Attend weekly management update meetings
• Manage weekly deposit report and utilize POS system to pull reports
• Review cash deposits weekly
• Write deposit slips for donations that are received
• Analyze reports line by line
• Other duties as needed to assist with the project

Qualifications Of The Senior Accountant
• Degree in related field a plus, but not required. Proven track record of performing high volume bank recs required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high volume
• Strong tech skills, ability to pull out reports and match with deposits
• Experience with Traverse a plus, but not required
• Proficient Excel skills (able to sort data and comfortable working in the system) required
