Staff Accountant

Job description
SALMON Health and Retirement is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our finance team.

Staff Accountant Responsibilities:
• Prepare journal entries.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Processing and analysis of accounts payable.
• Review and processing of ADP payroll general ledger downloads.
• Meeting processing and reporting deadlines.
• Assisting the accounting leadership as needed.

Staff Accountant Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years experience in Accounting.
• Payroll Process experience a plus.
• Health Industry related experience a plus.
• Matrix or YARDI general ledger experience a plus.
• Ability to work in Excel proficiently a must.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently are essential.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills required.
