Apply now by contacting Katie Ruger at 616-600-8734.Responsibilities:• Assist in managing all accounting operations of the Finance Department on a day-to-day basis.• Take part in Month-end/Year-end processes.• Play a significant role in banking and treasury management tasks such as cash applications, deposits, ACH payments, and basic forecasting.• Assist in maintaining the General Ledger, including reconciliations and allocation of journal entries.• Ensure accurate financial reporting in our accounting system, including internal management reports and unaudited reports for external users.• Manage significant recurring operating purchases on behalf of the business and ensure supplies are well-managed.• In the absence of the Director of Finance, handle general Finance department activities as required.• Work directly with senior management for their day-to-day Finance department issues and questions.• Assist with review and processing of bi-weekly payroll and payroll-related compliance and reporting as needed.• Participate in company-wide events and activities.• Utilize skills in Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Month End Close, Cash Flow Forecasts, Monthly Forecasts, Reconciliations, and Excel Formulas.
