Controller

We are in search of a Controller to join our team in the home construction industry, located in Memphis, Tennessee. The role involves overseeing the financial operations of our company, including managing accounts payable and receivable staff, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and aiding in the company's growth plans.

Responsibilities
• Oversee the day-to-day management of accounts payable and receivable staff.
• Implement solid controllership practices to help streamline financial operations and ensure confidence in the company's numbers.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting responsibilities, working closely with the owners.
• Assist in improving the company's financials by implementing robust accounting and auditing practices.
• Use QuickBooks Online for managing company accounts and financial transactions.
• Collaborate with the management team to support company growth, with the potential for career progression within the company.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
• Maintain the company's financial records, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date.
• Process customer credit applications efficiently and accurately.
• Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.

Requirements
• Proficient in 3M software
• Experienced in using accounting software systems
• Familiar with ADP - Financial Services
• Knowledgeable in Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
• Skilled in Crystal Reports
• Able to perform all accounting functions
• Experienced in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Expertise in auditing
• Familiar with budget processes and month-end close procedures
• Skilled in budgeting and forecasting
• Proficient in Quickbooks Online
