Senior Accountant

Accountants One is working with a Publicly Traded Company in the Greenville, South Carolina area to hire a Senior Accountant. This candidate must live in the area. This is a hybrid work schedule with a great organization looking for their next Senior Accountant, who will get exposure to key leadership within the organization. This person will work directly with the SEC Reporting Manager.

Senior Accountant Will Handle The Following
• Involved in SEC Reporting- 10k and 10q fillings,
• Quarterly earnings
• Handle share-based compensation accounting and analyze plan performances
• Keeping up with all new accounting regulations and pronouncements
• Assist with reconciliation, G/L, variance analysis,
• Internal controls for financial reporting according to GAAP/SEC
• Research, guidance and other filings information
• Technical accounting memos
• Work on any ad hoc accounting projects

Requirements:
• Bachelors in Accounting is a must
• CPA or CPA tracking is a must
• Public Accounting highly preferred or someone in a very technical accounting role
• SEC reporting highly preferred
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• 2+ years experience
