Venteon Finance is currently seeking an Accountant for a leading asset manager real estate firm in the Detroit area. The Accountant is an integral part of the team and will provide support for the day to day accounting and treasury functions of the organization.

Requirements of the Accountant
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant degree
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience
• Ability to work independently and on a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft: Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Must be detail oriented

Responsibilities of the Accountant
• Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting AP account transactions.
• Payment to vendors by scheduling and preparing checks, and issuance of checks.
• Prepare and monitor sales team budget
• Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
• Match invoices and supporting documentation for checks, as needed.
• Payment to vendors by scheduling and preparing checks, and issuance of checks.
• Assist with monthly accounting tasks, treasury functions
• Assist with monthly investor distributions and serve as the back up to processing distributions.
