Senor Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Description

Medical Services of America Inc. currently seeks a full-time Senior Accounts Payable Specialist for our Corporate office in Lexington, SC.

This person will be responsible for preparing invoices for entry into the accounts payable system.
• Matches purchase orders to receivers and invoices and flags discrepancies.
• Performs accounts payable statement review and reconciliation.
• Codes incoming accounts payable invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
• Batches, balances, and enters incoming invoices into the accounts payable system.
• Audits invoices for standards violations and takes the appropriate action to correct them.

Job Requirements
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
• BS or BA degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a related position.
• Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains software experience strongly preferred.
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) experience required.
• Crystal Reports and database experience strongly preferred.
