Job Description

The Finance Manager will be responsible for all aspects of budgeting (short and long term), forecasting, and month-end close activities. This role requires a strong background in finance, with the ability to drive financial strategy and performance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
• Budgeting:
• Develop and oversee the preparation of the annual budget, including short and long-term financial planning.
• Collaborate with department heads to gather budget inputs, review financial assumptions, and ensure alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
• Monitor budget performance, identify variances, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to management.
• Forecasting:
• Lead the preparation of periodic financial forecasts, incorporating current performance trends, market conditions, and business initiatives.
• Analyze forecast variances and adjust projections to reflect updated business conditions.
• Provide accurate and timely financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
• Month-End Close:
• Manage and coordinate month-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
• Review and analyze financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Prepare and present monthly financial performance reports to senior management, highlighting key financial metrics and trends.
• Financial Analysis and Reporting:
• Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analyses as required by management.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, with a focus on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Proven experience in leading and developing a finance team.
• Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles, including GAAP.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
