Accountant

Job Responsibilities
• Perform routine clerical, bookkeeping, and accounting duties including posting of transactions, account reconciliation and reporting.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, issuing payments and follow-up on outstanding balances.
• Assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process.
• Facilitate timely and accurate month-end closings and produce monthly financial statements.
• Maintain financial security by adhering to internal controls.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and issues.
• Comply with all Federal, state, and local legal requirements by understanding existing and new legislation.
