Global Tier 1 automotive supplier seeks a Sr. Plant Accountant!!

PURPOSE:

Support the controller in maintaining control of the financial activities of the plant oversee

accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll. Process monthly, quarterly and annual

reports required by the system.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Preparation of monthly financial statements and forecasts for the Plant.

 Audit, reconcile and prepare schedules of general ledger and inventory activity.

 Formulate and compile data for preparation of budget or other accounting projects.

 Supervise A/P, A/R, and payroll activities on a daily basis.

 Preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly reports (year and audit) and audit binder

preparation.

 SRP package, operations memo, capital appropriations, exchange fluctuations, accounts receivable and standard cost information. Account Reconciliations and FixedAsset Maintenance.

 Assist in the development and implementation of the Company’s policies and procedures.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Experienced in ABC costing system and ADP payroll processing, reconciliation, and reporting.

Education:

Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.

Experience:

5 years of practical accounting experience with a minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing environment.

Skills:

 Strong computer skills (PC, AS 400)

 Well-Developed communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.

 Advanced accounting skills, including standard costs, variance analysis, forecasting,
