Position: Accounting/Logistics Clerk

Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounting Staff member with expertise in logistics. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and handling day-to-day accounting tasks. Additionally, your knowledge of logistics will be crucial in managing inventory records, coordinating shipments, and ensuring accurate financial transactions related to our logistics operations. We will interview candidates with either accounting or logistics experience.

Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions from data entry to conclusion.
• Process EDI and bank documentation for international payments.
• Reconcile invoices and ensure timely payments.
• Assist in budget preparation and monitoring.
• Monitor inventory transactions and reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordinate with logistics team to ensure accurate recording of shipments and inventory movements.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes including 10++s.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.
• Assist in tax filings.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven work experience as an Accountant or similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Knowledge of logistics operations, including inventory management and shipment coordination.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with ERP systems (company uses Microsoft Dynamics Business Central).
• Previous experience in a logistics-focused accounting role.
