Personal Tax Manager

Clark Wood, specialists in Accountancy Practice and Tax recruitment, are currently assisting a prominent independent firm of chartered accountants in Newport to recruit an accomplished Personal Tax Manager. This role offers an opportunity to join a dynamic team, working closely with partners and overseeing a dedicated team of Tax Seniors and Trainees.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and review tax returns prepared by team members, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Provide tax advisory services and strategic tax planning to a diverse client base.

Identify opportunities for additional client services and coordinate with specialists.

Mentor and support junior team members, providing guidance and training as needed.

Take ownership of client portfolio management, including billing and debt collection.

Engage in business development activities and contribute to internal Tax Technical Training sessions.

Skills and Experience

Required:

ATT or CTA Qualified with substantial experience in Personal Tax within a practice environment.

Proven ability to manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance and high-quality service delivery.

Capability to provide clear, concise tax advice and handle complex tax issues.
