Responsibilities

As a Permanent Audit Senior, your responsibilities will be diverse and impactful. You will
• Lead and execute financial and operational audits, ensuring compliance with GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley Act, and other applicable regulations.
• Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
• Prepare and present detailed audit reports, highlighting areas for improvement and recommending action plans.
• Work closely with various departments to understand business processes, identify potential risks, and provide solutions to mitigate those risks.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial statements, ensuring their accuracy and completeness.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and changes in regulations, implementing necessary changes to maintain compliance.
• Foster a culture of transparency and integrity, promoting the highest standards of professional ethics.

Qualifications

To be considered for this exciting role, you will need the following qualifications
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial auditing, preferably within the finance industry.
• Proven knowledge and understanding of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, GAAP Standards, and other relevant financial regulations.
• Strong experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements and budgets.
• Exceptional skills in evaluating and improving internal controls and risk management processes.
• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
• High level of integrity, with a commitment to upholding professional ethics.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Strong computer skills, with proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
