Our client, a healthcare and pharmaceutical company is looking to hire a Manufacturing Technician. The Manufacturing Technician performs all responsibilities necessary to operate, troubleshoot, adjust, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment. The technician will monitor and adjust processes to improve throughput, assist with preventive maintenance (PM), and ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA, GMP, MPs, ISO +001, ISO 14001, and other relevant specifications. The role involves routine cleaning and non-routine maintenance while adhering to all safety policies and environmental objectives.
The Day-to-Day:
• Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Operate and maintain production equipment to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
• Troubleshooting and Repairs: Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with the production team to resolve technical issues and identify areas for process improvement.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety procedures, quality standards, and environmental policies.
• Support for Other Departments: Provide technical support and assistance to other departments as required.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma
• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance or engineering experience in a high-volume production line environment, preferably with continuous operation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• General knowledge and troubleshooting skills in the following areas: Process improvement, Line knowledge, PLC systems, Electro/mechanical devices, Robotic/servo systems, Safety devices, Equipment installation, debug, and qualification, Control circuitry development, Electro-mechanical troubleshooting/repair, Equipment prototyping and production start-up.
• Mechanical parts design and tooling experience
• Materials/metalworking and mechanical power transmission experience
Pay Rate:
• $22.00 to $25.00 /hr
