Position: Manager/DM- Legal

Job Description
• Independent drafting, negotiation and review of Digital payment Agreements, Security,

Software Development and Licensing Agreements, Vendor and Service Provider

Agreement, NDA, B2B Contracts, Branding Agreement, Merchant Agreement,

Payment Gateway Agreements, Rent and Leave and License and other business

Contracts and Documents. Ability to negotiate, draft, solidify and review complex

agreements in high pressured environment.
• To undertake legal structuring of transactions and advice business

operations on legal and compliance issues.
• Good legal knowledge and work exposure to Corporate law, Contract Act, RBI

guidelines, Data Privacy Law, Anti- Corruption, KYC, IP Law, IT Act, Infosec

Standards, etc. Ensuring adherence according to RBI regulation.
• Litigation management, labor issues, employee issues, and advice on disciplinary

actions
• Reviewing/updating the policies and terms and conditions for various products and

campaigns.
• Provide expert strategic legal advice on various aspects of legal matters, including,

grievances and fraud-related matters and interpretation of applicable laws. Assist

support functions in execution of documents, stamping requirement etc.
• Interacting with government officials, law enforcement agencies and regulatory

authorities and ensuring ongoing compliance with local regulatory requirements.

Registration and Protection of IPR

Keep updated with the latest legal developments in Corporate/ Contract / Securities

law and other laws which are related to Company's business.

Understanding the needs of a Fintech and drafting/modifying the agreement templates

in accordance with business requirements.

Creating the agreement templates for new business ideas and product launch to meet

the commercial requirements of the Company

Requirements:
• Law graduate from a reputed industry
• 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in Banks, Fintech/Financial Service Industry. A
• right mix of law firm and in-house counsel experience in financial services / banking /
• NBFC/ payment aggregator is preferred.
• Strong drafting, Negotiation skill and general commercial acumen.
• Results oriented and proactive solution driven
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and manage and prioritise multiple
• assignment.
• Ability to understand business requirement and effectively draft and negotiate business terms
