Your role
Are you a multitasker Are you strong with numbers Are you solid as a rock when juggling many tasks at once and quickly shift from one situation or task to another We're looking for someone like this to support our Category Management to manage & drive the overall category strategy for outsourcing category (ITO/BPO) by proactively influencing areas such as value, performance, risk, compliance and cost.

Key Responsibilities:
Understand and manage financials on our third-party contracts. Review vendor rate cards & define benchmark for the category.
Bring insights with respect to category to determine market trends e.g. vendors, new technology, capability etc
Creating a transparent pipeline of deals. Support Deal team in creating sourcing strategy with a flawless grasp of cost structures & savings leavers to run RFI/RFP.
Help in tracking savings for all deals and category initiatives.
Support Category manager in. maintaining and tracking of category initiatives and being responsible for driving the initiative towards its cost target
Ensure that our vendor management and control governance framework is fully and appropriately implemented across vendor portfolio and ensure compliance to vendor management standards. Ensure outcomes are documented and actions tracked towards closure.

Your team
You'll be working in the Category & Vendor Management Outsourcing Team. This team is part of Group Corporate Services Supply Chain and is responsible for providing a full lifecycle of services relating to Sourcing Strategy and Governance for both ITO (services) and BPO vendors. You'll be working in the Category Management Team in Pune. We are responsible for developing, reviewing, and providing guidance on business cases and contract financials to extract the maximum possible value from our outsourced relationship, while minimizing the potential risk to UBS business operations.

Your expertise
Minimum 7-8 years of relevant experience as category analyst or similar role in ITO/BPO industry
Ability to understand, interpret, visualize, draw conclusions and display complex data sets in an easy-to-understand way
Understanding of category management principles, contractual structures and commercial aspects of outsourcing
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Advance Excel). Experience in using Tableau, Power BI, ARIBA, Fieldglass will be a strong plus
Project Management certification and/or Six Sigma certification is nice to have.
a strong written and verbal communicator, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
