Video Editor

We're searching for a skilled and imaginative Video Editor to be part of our Design team. Your role will be really important in making our videos tell great stories. You'll work closely with our marketing and content teams to make videos that our viewers will love and that will make our brand stand out.

Key Responsibilities:
• Edit and assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the company or client’s vision and is suitable for broadcasting.
• Create video content for various platforms including social media, websites, and mobile apps.
• Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm video concepts and storyboards.
• Implement creative techniques in video editing and animation to enhance viewer engagement.
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of all video content.
• Experiment with styles and techniques including the design of graphic elements.
• Adapt and incorporate feedback after discussion with stakeholders.
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximise efficiency.
• Add music, sound effects, and visual effects to enhance the video

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio.
• Hands-on experience with editing, animation and adobe softwares like After Effects, Premiere Pro etc.
• Excellent understanding of timing, and continuity.
• Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing.
• Creative mind and storytelling skills.
• Degree in film studies, cinematography, or related fields is a plus.
• Good Communication Skills to convey your ideas, and also gauge the needs of the clients.
