Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Sr. Delphi Developer. The Sr. Delphi Developer will be responsible for programming in Pascal, software development, working with databases, and utilizing Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles to deliver high-quality solutions.

Job Description:

We are seeking two highly skilled Delphi programmers to join our team for a long-term engagement with our client. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in Delphi programming and a proven track record of delivering quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain applications using Delphi and Object Pascal.

- Design user-friendly interfaces with Delphi’s VCL and FMX frameworks.

- Integrate and manage database connectivity using Delphi components such as FireDAC or ADO.

- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects to ensure optimal performance.

- Collaborate with team members to design and implement software features.

- Utilize version control systems like Git for efficient code management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Delphi Language Proficiency: Strong understanding of Object Pascal and the Delphi IDE.

- Object-Oriented Programming (OOP): Knowledge of OOP principles such as inheritance and encapsulation.

- Frameworks: Experience with VCL for Windows applications and FMX for cross-platform development.

- Database Connectivity: Proficiency in working with databases using Delphi components like FireDAC or ADO.

- UI Design: Demonstrated ability to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.

- Debugging and Problem-Solving: Strong skills in identifying and resolving coding issues.

- Version Control: Familiarity with tools like Git for managing code changes.

- Operating System Knowledge: Understanding of Windows and other platforms for application development.

- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in teams and convey technical information clearly.
