This is an unpaid internship programme

Only for journalism PG students or those in their final semester of BJMC or graduation.

Duration: 3 months

Four hours a day for five days a week.

One weekly mandatory training session on tools and skills

Location: Remote

Role Description

This is an remote role for a Journalism Intern at East Post. As a Journalism Intern, you will be responsible for writing news articles, narratives, long-form narratives, researching current affairs and helping the editorial team in social media management.

This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in deep-diving, investigations and first hand reporting for all journalism students in their final years.

During the unpaid internship, East Post will train candidates to—ethically use AI for journalism, data journalism, OsInt, narrative writing and network building.

Qualifications

Writing and research skills
Excellent communication skills
Avid reader of news and current affairs
Passion for journalism and current affairs
Ability to work independently and remotely
Pursuing or completed a bachelor's or master's degree in journalism
