Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with 8 to 10 years of experience in designing pressure vessels. The ideal candidate should have expertise in using PV Elite software and a strong understanding of the ASME code.

Key Responsibilities
• Pressure Vessel Design:
• Design and analyze pressure vessels in compliance with ASME code using PV Elite software.
• Perform stress analysis, material selection, and calculations for pressure vessels to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
• Engineering Calculations:
• Perform detailed engineering calculations related to pressure vessel design, including thickness calculations, reinforcement, and nozzle load analysis.
• Project Management:
• Lead and manage multiple design projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and procurement to ensure seamless project execution.
• Documentation:
• Prepare and review design documentation, including detailed drawings, specifications, and material requisitions.
• Ensure all documentation meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Quality Assurance:
• Conduct design reviews, verify design calculations, and participate in quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and integrity of designs.
• Compliance and Safety:
• Ensure all designs comply with ASME code requirements and other relevant standards and regulations.
• Promote a culture of safety and compliance within the engineering team.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in pressure vessel design and ASME code revisions.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design processes and tools.

Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 8-10 years of experience in mechanical design, specifically in pressure vessel design using PV Elite software.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in PV Elite software and familiarity with other relevant design tools.
• In-depth knowledge of ASME code and pressure vessel design principles.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
