JOB OVERVIEW:

Manager- Financial reporting & Technical accounting would be responsible for financial assistance for the International Entities of UKG spread across APAC & EMEA. This position will be based out of UKG’s Noida office in India and will report to the Sr. Manager – Finance who is also based out of same office. Further, this position will operate during 11:30am IST to 8:30pm IST.

Key Responsibilities Include
• Review of Financial statements for various Intl entities and highlight any major deviation/inconsistency to the management beforehand ensuring no surprise culture.
• Collaborate with Corporate Teams & External consultants for preparation & filing of Company Financials & other compliances.
• Ensuring strong relationship with the statutory auditors and the group auditors for the purpose of finalisation of statutory audit within stringent timelines, ensuring clean audit reports, negotiation of fees etc.
• Arranging all the inputs/PBC required by auditors with the help of global finance teams spread across various countries.
• Identification & assistance in Implementation of any new accounting Standards or new compliances & quantifying the impact for STAT books.
• Handling technical accounting matters and differences between US GAAP & local GAAP. Ensure proper review & backups with accurate & sufficient details of GAAP v/s STAT.
• Preparing technical accounting memos, providing guidance to the global finance team on accounting and conducting knowledge sessions.
• Participate in process automation ideas & AI/BOT implementation by suggesting efficient methodologies and collaborate with respective team for successful implementation.
• Drive the internal control and ICFR/Sox audit of the assigned entities.
• Lead and Support global corporate finance projects (D365 implementation, global accounting standard implementation – Share based payment, IND AS implementation etc.)

People management: Leading the team of 5 to 6 accounting professionals managing various entities
• Providing necessary coaching and trainings to develop the team
• Dynamic manager who can win the trust of the team and extend his support wherever required.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
• Chartered Accountant with 8-10 years of related professional work experience handling international countries.
• Sound understanding of IFRS and having good control over Local GAAPs vis a vis US GAAPs differences.
• Prior experience of global financial reporting covering EMEA & APAC region will be given a preference.
• Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft D365/Oracle, Advanced Excel and Powerpoint.
• Ability to work with management at all levels within a complex, matrixed, global organization.
• Decent Knowledge of cross-functional business processes (order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, etc.)
