• Position Title: Nurse ( NICU Trained)
• Location: Khetarpal Nursing Home, GN-5, Shivaji Enclave, New Delhi-110027
• Position Summary:
Vacancy for a nurse ( Female/Male) with NICU experience in 15 bedded hospital with NICU in West Delhi.
• Key Responsibilities:
1. Patient Care:
- Provide direct care to critically ill and premature new borns , including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing medical procedures. - Should have experience dealing with Ventilators, CPAP, High flow oxygen and various equipment and procedures done in NICU setting.
- Support and educate families about their infant’s condition, treatment plan, and care needs.
2. Medical Procedures:
- Assist with invasive procedures such as intubation, central line insertion, and umbilical catheterization.
- Utilize advanced technology and equipment for monitoring and supporting neonatal patients.
3. Collaboration:
- Work closely with neonatologists, pediatricians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare team members.
- Participate in daily rounds, case discussions, and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure comprehensive care.
4. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with other healthcare providers and document changes in patient status.
5. Family Support:
- Provide emotional support and counselling to families, addressing their concerns and questions.
- Educate parents on neonatal care, including feeding, development, and signs of potential complications.
6. Quality Improvement:

• Qualifications:
- Education: : BSc (Nursing)/ GNM
- Licensure/Certification: DNC Certificate mandatory
- Experience: At least 1 year working in NICU. Should be able to work in wards, casualty as rotatory duties.
- Skills: IV cannulation, tube feeding, Monitoring of babies, Well and low birth weght baby care.
- Proficiency in neonatal assessment and management.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
