Job Overview: As a Remote Content Moderator, you will be responsible for reviewing and managing user-generated content across various platforms to ensure compliance with our community guidelines and policies. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and respectful online space for our users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review user-generated content (text, images, videos) to ensure it adheres to our community guidelines and policies.


• Identify and remove content that violates guidelines, including hate speech, harassment, spam, and other prohibited material.


• Escalate complex or sensitive cases to the appropriate team members or supervisors.


• Provide feedback and insights on content trends and user behavior to help improve content policies and moderation processes.


• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, best practices, and emerging trends in content moderation.


• Collaborate with other team members and departments to address issues and improve the overall user experience.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.


• Previous experience in content moderation, customer service, or a related field is a plus.


• Strong understanding of online communities and social media platforms.


• Excellent attention to detail and ability to make quick, accurate decisions.


• Proficient in English (additional language skills are a plus).


• Strong written and verbal communication skills.


• Ability to handle sensitive and sometimes distressing content with professionalism and empathy.
