JD : Sr. ServiceNow Developer.
Position Overview
As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will play a key role in the development and enhancement of our ServiceNow platform. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, design technical solutions, and ensure the successful deployment of ServiceNow applications. Your expertise in ServiceNow development, configuration, and integration will be critical to optimizing our IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and delivering high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Solution Design and Development: Lead the design, development, and deployment of ServiceNow applications, modules, and integrations, including but not limited to ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, and custom applications.
• Technical Expertise: Provide advanced technical expertise and hands-on development for ServiceNow platform configurations, including business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and workflow development.
• Integration Management: Develop and manage integrations between ServiceNow and other systems using REST/SOAP APIs, integration connectors, and scripting.
• Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that solutions meet business needs and align with IT and architectural standards.
• Best Practices: Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, coding standards, and security protocols. Continuously improve development processes and practices.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to ServiceNow. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing ServiceNow applications and modules.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, technical workflows, and user guides.
• Mentoring: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.
Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a strong track record of designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions in a complex environment.
• Certification: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or similar certifications. Additional certifications in ITSM, ITOM, or ITBM are a plus.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting languages (JavaScript, GlideScript), ServiceNow API integrations, and ServiceNow platform features. Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, AngularJS) and relational databases.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at various levels.
• Project Management: Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience: Familiarity with ITIL practices and frameworks.
• Knowledge: Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics, Virtual Agent, and Knowledge Management modules.
