This strategic role is focused on building a premier events operation that aims to generate significant direct revenue annually while serving as a key marketing and demand generation tool. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in event management and a passion for innovation.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a comprehensive event strategy that aligns with the company's revenue goals and brand objectives.Lead the creation and management of high-profile events inspired by renowned conference models, with a focus on emerging technologies and industry certifications.Manage partnerships with media entities to enhance event visibility and reach.Build and manage a compact, effective events team, scaling operations according to organizational growth.Oversee budgeting, planning, and execution of all events, ensuring they deliver maximum ROI and align with broader strategic goals.Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to leverage events as significant lead generation and customer engagement platforms.Stay abreast of industry trends to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of its field. RequirementsProven experience in event management or a similar role, with a history of leading large-scale, successful events.Exceptional leadership skills with experience in team building and management.Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to operate effectively under pressure.Knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends, particularly in areas relevant to the organization's focus.Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
