Barista|Helper | Part|time

Begonia Bakehouse is expanding and looking for someone to be barista and general all-around helper.

Duties Include:
• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and other beverages, including lattes, cappuccinos and teas. Ability to make latte art is preferred.
• Communicate with customers to take orders, answer questions, and provide recommendations on drinks and food items. Ensure customer satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service.
• Operate equipment including; the espresso machine, grinder, bread slicer and other kitchen appliances safely and efficiently.
• Package baked goods for takeout.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the coffee bar, equipment, and storage areas.
• Help with sandwich production as required throughout the day.
• Assist with food prep which includes: cleaning, peeling and slicing of vegetables and fruits.
• Assist with daily cleaning including: sweeping, mopping and washing dishes.
• Clean and sanitize entire work area.
• Receive, unpack and store supplies.
• Remove trash and recycling.

The candidate must be able to work weekends ( Thursday to Sunday). This is a part-time role and will consist of 4 days per week.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 32 per week
