Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role at Studio Rōmrōm in New Delhi. As an Intern, you will be involved in-
• Deep research into traditional silhouettes, recording the insights and mapping the history.
• Creating and designing lingerie and apparel.
• Experimenting with natural dyes, prints and development of new textiles.
• Working on brainstorming, sketching & ideating on concepts/designs.
• Create artworks and sketches digitally.
• Create graphics for social media and documenting the processes.
Qualifications
• Research and storyboarding skills
• Fashion Design, Graphic Design, and Fashion Styling skills
• Experience or knowledge of textiles and crafts
• Inclination towards sustainable and eco-friendly fashion
• Creativity and ability to think outside the box
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

We are looking for a passionate Fashion Designing Intern with a flair for social media to join our dynamic team and contribute to our creative journey.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the design and development of new textile and fashion collections.
• Create mood boards, sketches, and prototypes based on current fashion trends and brand aesthetics.
• Collaborate with the design team to conceptualize and execute creative ideas.
• Conduct market research to identify new trends, fabrics, and techniques.
• Support the production process, including fabric selection, pattern making, and garment construction.
• Manage and curate content for the brand’s social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest.
• Develop engaging and visually appealing posts to promote collections, behind-the-scenes activities, and brand stories.
• Interact with the online community, respond to comments and messages, and build a strong social media presence.
• Assist in organizing and promoting fashion events, photoshoots, and exhibitions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into design and social media strategies.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
• Strong creative and artistic skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other relevant tools.
• Basic knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, and fabric properties.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and trends in digital marketing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• A passion for fashion, sustainability, and innovation.
