HEALTHCARE INTERIOR DESIGNER

Hybrid, Full-time
Intermediate-Senior

This is an excellent and unique opportunity for a strong Interior Designer with a primary focus in Healthcare Design to join a reputable, established, and growing Multidisciplinary Architecture and Design firm in Calgary, Alberta.

They is seeking an experienced Healthcare Interior Designer to join their vibrant team. If you are a design-thinking individual with a strong commitment to create transformative and human-centric spaces that elevate the health and wellbeing of occupants, like the rest of their interior design team, our client would like to meet you. This role involves collaborating with an integrated project team, managing client expectations, and contributing to the entire design process from concept to completion.

The successful candidate has a demonstrated history in healthcare projects that includes large hospitals, who uses evidence-based design to promotes patient care and improves the experience of both patients and visitors.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Diploma in Interior Design, or related field
• 5+ years of interior design experience with a focus on healthcare projects, especially large hospitals; experience working on conceptual and innovative healthcare projects
• Strong knowledge, creativity, and experience of the design process
• A passionate design professional, who translates concepts into distinctively experiential and functional design solutions
• NCIDQ and/or Intern with the Alberta Association of Architects is an asset
• Proficient skills in Revit (a must), Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Programs
• Experience with Rhino is an asset
• Comprehensive knowledge of Alberta building code and construction regulations
