Hiring licensed heavy-duty mechanic. Must have at least 2 years of experience in the truck & trailer repair field.

FULL JOB DESCRIPTION: -

$35-45/HR, 5-day work week in calgary.

A willingness to excel on a vast array of vehicles & equipment would serve you as well, as our shop works on all makes and models (Freightliner, Western Star, International, Peterbilt, and Kenworth)

Please note that a pre-employment skills test will be conducted during the first in-person interview.

Key roles and responsibilities:

- Proficient in emissions inspections, electrical, air brake system repairs

- Quality repairs and maintenance on heavy-truck and diesel engines from multiple brands.

- Diagnosing malfunctions or problems using a computerized system or testing equipment to determine the root cause of any issue.

- Repairing and verifying any emission control systems

- Meeting with customers to explain problems and possible solutions.

- Carrying out any repairs as needed to replace the transmission or other damaged parts

- Write detailed and professional stories on work orders.

- Mentor other technicians.
