Job opportunity The position is with Mutual Fund company and they are looking for Investment Analyst / Fund Manager - Equites

Locations - Ahmedabad

Position reports to - Head Offshore & AIF

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE : We would like to add a Fund Manager/Investment Analyst to our equity research team to cover Real estate, Textiles and Consumer durables, housing products/materials sectors with primary task being investment decision making, performing equity research, due diligence on sectors and companies. An ideal candidate would have knowledge of the key parameters for sector evaluations, good understanding of bottom-up equity analysis & valuation framework, One or multiple sector knowledge and understanding would be an added advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE ROLE :

- Conduct in-depth equity research on multiple companies and sectors including on-field interaction, management meetings, etc

- Portfolio Management in consultation with the head of off-shore by assessing, managing risks and opportunities within portfolio

- Develop and maintained detailed financial models and valuation framework to evaluate scoring, etc for investment universe

- Develop tools and metrics to track, evaluate and monitor the news impact measurement across the portfolio.

- Understanding of the ESG related regulations in a rapidly evolving global landscape

Technical & Professional Knowledge required (What someone NEEDS TO KNOW):

- Deep understanding of the investment philosophy, framework & key parameters

- Strong in financial modelling, Quantitative & Strong analytical skills

- Understanding of financial / capital markets

- Experience with MF industry data analytics tools and databases
