JOB DESCRIPTION:

Dolly J, one of India’s leading fashion brands specializing in Indian haute couture is looking for a senior fashion designer to play a lead role launching the new menswear line. The line will include designers for ethnic menswear, and we want a designer who can conceptualize a piece and see through the formation of the first piece.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the design team in conceptualizing and creating high-end menswear couture collections (focus on Indian and ethnic menswear)
- Translate creative visions into detailed sketches and technical drawings.
- Create cutting edge couture pieces which incorporate the latest trends in Indian and western design
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure the seamless execution of designs
- Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a collaborative and creative environment

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Senior Menswear Fashion Designer in the couture or luxury fashion industry
- Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of designs and technical skills
- Excellent knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and manufacturing processes
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills
- Passion for creating unique and captivating couture pieces
