With a commitment to excellence and innovation, we are looking for a dedicated Lead Carpenter to join our team and help us achieve new heights.

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Carpenter to take on the crucial role of managing job sites and supervising daily activities. The Lead Carpenter will be instrumental in ensuring our projects are completed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a high-performance environment and is driven by personal and professional growth.

Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute trim and millwork installations for residential and commercial customers
• Come to work with a positive attitude, and do your best.
• Manage job sites and supervise daily trade partner activities according to schedules.
• Use mobile apps to track job-related data.
• Ensure work complies with municipal and Alberta Building Code standards.
• Schedule and conduct construction activities, including pre-construction meetings and final presentations.
• Foster positive relationships with trade partners, ensuring they have the resources needed.
• Maintain records of change orders, purchase orders, and update schedules.
• Ensure job site cleanliness and safety.
• Develop new, efficient techniques and provide feedback to management.
• Train and mentor new team members.
• Deliver the highest quality in both builds and customer service.

Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in residential construction.
• Proactive organizational skills, including submitting expenses and schedule updates.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to estimate job durations accurately.
• Strong interpersonal skills and team player mentality.
• Proficiency with computers, cell phones, and tablets.
• Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record.
• Knowledge of construction practices, procedures, and building codes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Physical ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift equipment over 50 pounds.
• Broad range of carpentry and other trade skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week

Additional pay:
• Overtime pay
