About Us:

Railways are the backbone of India. However, the passenger experience is broken across the board. Starting with food, where the food served in pantries & platforms is not fit for human consumption, Railofy is on a mission to create the largest & the most trustworthy brand in this space. Since launch in Jan 2026, Railofy has scaled to become the leading online food brand in each of the stations that it operates.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, and test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Perform manual testing, functional testing, smoke testing, integration testing, and regression testing with attention to detail.
• Perform API testing to validate data accuracy, response times, and system reliability.
• Collect and analyze test data from various sources such as Kibana, Postman, SQL, Excel/Sheets, etc., to support testing efforts.
• Develop a deep understanding of the core product and its flows to ensure thorough testing.
• Become a subject matter expert on assigned projects, providing insights and solutions during the testing process.
• Participate in the evaluation of new feature designs and provide insightful feedback during demos.
• Collaborate closely with business and engineering teams to ensure clear communication of requirements and issues.
• Conduct UAT meets for assigned projects and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Provide Level 1 support to business and operations teams for production issues - troubleshooting, identifying known limitations, and devising workarounds during crises.
• Identify, report, and manage defects in the Defect Tracking System (we use GitLab).
• Continuously improve the testing process and contribute to the development of best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Critical thinking and problem-solving.
• Strong understanding of QA processes, methodologies, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams..
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple testing efforts in parallel.
• High ownership mindset, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
