We are hiring on behalf of a leading Restaurant in Bahran. We are currently looking for a dedicated and passionate individual to join our kitchen team as an Assistant Cook cum Kitchen Helper.

Job Title: Assistant Cook cum Kitchen Helper

Location: on-site, Bahran

The Assistant Cook cum Kitchen Helper will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen operations, assisting the head chef, and ensuring that the kitchen is clean and well-organized. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the head chef and cooks in food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and basic cooking tasks.

- Ensure all food items are properly stored and organized in the kitchen.

- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning countertops, and sanitizing equipment.

- Help plate dishes and ensure that orders are executed efficiently and correctly.

- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages.

- Follow all health and safety regulations and kitchen protocols.

- Perform any other kitchen-related tasks as assigned by the head chef or kitchen supervisor.

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a kitchen helper or assistant cook is preferred but not mandatory.

- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques.

- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
