Job description
Job Summary: The Plant Head is responsible for the overall management of the plant’s operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, and personnel. This role ensures that the plant operates efficiently, meets production targets, and adheres to safety and quality standards. The Plant Head is also responsible for strategic planning and implementing improvements to enhance productivity and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operational Management:
• Oversee daily operations of the plant, ensuring all production processes run smoothly and efficiently.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to meet production goals and optimize plant performance.
• Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production, quality, and safety.
• Staff Management:
• Lead, mentor, and manage plant personnel, including supervisors, engineers, and production staff.
• Ensure proper training and development programs are in place for employees.
• Conduct performance evaluations and address personnel issues in a timely manner.
• Quality Control:
• Ensure that production processes meet the required quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures and address any deviations or quality issues.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Promote a culture of safety within the plant and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and practices.
• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments, addressing potential hazards proactively.
• Maintenance and Equipment:
• Oversee maintenance schedules and ensure that all machinery and equipment are maintained in good working order.
• Manage repair and replacement of equipment as needed, minimizing downtime.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Plant Manager or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in manufacturing software and systems.
