Remote iOS Developer

About the role:
We, at Turing, are looking to hire an iOS developer who can design, and build the next generation of iOS mobile applications. You will be required to design and maintain the code to ensure the high quality of the applications. You will also be required to collaborate with the design team to implement new application features, identify and fix bugs, and update applications.

Responsibilities:
- Design, build and maintain advanced mobile applications for the iOS platform
- Write & perform unit/integration tests ensuring usability & reliability of mobile applications
- Collaborate with the designers to define and implement new application features
- Diagnose and fix application bottlenecks to improve performance
- Design, develop and implement application updates

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in iOS development (exceptions made based on skill level)
- Proficiency in Swift programming
- Experience with REST API design and services development
- Knowledge of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
- Fluency in English to collaborate with engineering managers.
- The ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with U.S. time zones

Preferred skills:
- Working knowledge of iOS back-end services
- Experience with iOS frameworks like Core Animation, Core Data, Core, etc.
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Knowledge of the general mobile landscape, trends, architectures & emerging techs
- Expert understanding of the mobile development lifecycle
