Junior Project Manager

Job Role: Junior Project Manager (Infrastructure)

Job Location: Sydney, NSW (Hybrid - 2 days in Sydney office at the start, 3 days work from home)

Job Type: 6-Month Contract with Possible Extension

Eligibility: PR / VISA / Australian citizens

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management: Assist in planning, executing, and finalizing projects within the specified deadlines and budget.
Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively manage risks throughout the project.
Cost Management: Monitor project costs to ensure alignment with the allocated budget.
Project Transition & Handover: Prepare and manage project documentation, ensuring a smooth transition and handover to the operational teams.
Communication: Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project status, issues, and resolutions.
Skills & Qualifications:

Infrastructure Knowledge: Understanding of infrastructure components such as routers, switches, firewalls, cloud environments, and data centers. Expertise is not required, but a solid understanding is essential.
Project Management Skills:
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Effective risk management and mitigation strategies.
Stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
Budgeting and cost management experience.
Proficiency in project transition and handover documentation.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $380.00 – $420.00 per day
