Apprentice Cabinetmaker/Carpenter

We are currently seeking a motivated and eager Apprentice Cabinetmaker/Carpenter to join our team and learn the art of woodworking from our experienced craftsmen.

All applicants MUST have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, a toolbelt and power tools.

Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications
• Perform precise measurements, set up the machine for precise cutting, and select materials required
• Capable of performing various tasks in the millwork department such as; sheet lay-ups with laminate, assemblies, filing, sanding, casework and other miscellaneous tasks
• Perform cabinet installations ensuring proper fit and alignment
• Conduct quality checks to ensure finished products meet high standards

Skills:
• At least 1 year of cabinetmaking and carpentry experience
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
• Physical ability to perform, heavy lifting and manual labour as required
• Work under pressure with tight deadlines

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $16.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
