Experienced in…
• Large scale commercial new construction experience
• Reads and interprets drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine layout requirements
• Lays out, assembles, fabricates, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs piping systems carrying water, steam, chemicals, and fuel in heating, cooling, lubricating, and other process piping systems
• Selects type and size of pipe required
• Measures, cuts, and threads pipe to required shape using hand and power tools
• Tack, welds and threads joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping system
• Installs supports, valves, piping, and control systems
• Tests system for leaks using testing equipment
• Cleans and maintains pipe units and fittings and flush systems
• Removes and replaces worn components and reactivates systems

Qualifications and Requirements...
• Detailed/ safety orientated applicants only;
• Must have valid recognized Alberta Journeyperson Trade Certificate, or a recognized trade certificate or equivalency document;
• Must have pipe fitting experience;
• Must have own transportation;
• Must have own tools;
• Must have own PPE;
• Applicants with valid and current safety training and tickets preferred.
