Commercial Service Plumber|Gasfitter

`Great Northern Plumbing Inc. is looking to add a Commercial Service Plumber to our team.

Key Responsibilities
• Represent Great Northern Plumbing in a professional, courteous, and customer service-oriented manner.
• Read, interpret, and maintain drawings and specifications
• Install plumbing, heating, and related equipment, and components in compliance with manufacturer specifications.
• Repair, replace, and adjust worn or broken parts within a Mechanical system
• Advise customers on potential equipment failures
• Supervise and coordinate Trade Partners on site activities
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all modern equipment and regulations.
• Ensure documentation is completed at time of service
• Perform duties in a Safe manner, abiding by and in accordance with all applicable regulations
• Maintain compliance and participate with Great Northern Plumbing Health and Safety Program
• Maintain qualifications
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications
• Journeyman Plumbing and Gasfitting Ticket
• Commercial service plumbing experience with retrofit and renovation experience
• Minimum of 5 years of commercial plumbing diagnostic experience, including:
• Commercial boilers, pumps , fans, hot water tanks etc.
• Commercial HVAC service work experience an asset
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings
• Strong Boiler diagnostic experience
• Strong electrical troubleshoot skillset
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems
• Rooftop/MUA maintenance experience
• Good understanding of digital controls systems
• Strong work ethic
• Work well in a team environment
• Punctuality
• Care for the quality of their work
• Willingness to continue education to advance their career
• Valid non-restricted driver's license with a clean drivers abstract
• Certificates: Arial Lift, Fall Arrest, First, WHMIS considered an asset

Salary: $46.00-$51.00 per hour dependent on experience
