Service Plumber

We are currently recruiting for a journeyman or 3/4th year apprentice plumber to join our team. The successful candidate must be adaptable to the different work environments and have a wide variety of skills not limited to plumbing.

What Skills & Qualifications You Must Have:
• Strong background in service plumbing.
• Perform commercial plumbing tasks including but not limited to installing and servicing plumbing systems, fixtures, pipes and controls; assembling and installing valves and fittings; locating positions for connections and fixtures; and responding to work orders, investigating complaints and identifying solutions
• Knowledge of applicable plumbing and gas fitting codes, standards, and regulations.
• Knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions of the trade.
• Basic electrical skills.

· Basic Knowledge of HVAC Controls and Interlocks

· Basic Knowledge HVAC-R Systems & General Equipment Operations
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to support and resolve customer concerns
• Able to work independently and follow company procedures
• Effectively communicate, both verbal and written in English.
• Plumbing journeyman ticket or 3 / 4 year apprentice.
• Gas A or B
• Class 5 license with acceptable abstract (required)

We expect our technicians to:
• Respond quickly and efficiently to service calls
• Assess and complete repairs accurately and timely
• Interact with our customers to ensure their concerns are handled in a professional and courteous manner
• Effectively complete work orders
• Complete paperwork for each job, including daily time, job status and duration
• Records parts, materials, labour and other cost data per job
• Support other technicians on preventative maintenance and service calls as required

Job Types: Permanent, Apprenticeship, Full-time

Pay: $31.00-$45.00 per hour
