Job Description

We are looking for an exceptional Pharmacy Technician to join our growing team. We are a leading compounding pharmacy group that has expanded into a new world class facility in Calgary, AB .

This position is for a Compounding Pharmacy Technician that will work with the compounding pharmacists and technicians to produce high quality compounded products.

Our facility will be fully compliant with the NAPRA guidelines and will offer sterile, non-sterile and hazardous compounding. Comprehensive training will be provided in detail for the successful applicant.

We are looking for the following experience and qualifications:

- Compounding experience

- Regulated Pharmacy Technician with the College of Pharmacists Alberta

- Attention to detail

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

As a Compounding Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for (but not limited to)

- Working with management to implement and maintain policies and procedure

- Working with pharmacists to develop formulas and processes

- Inventory management

- Answering patient/customer phone calls in call center when applicable

- Processing prescriptions in Kroll and PK

- Regulatory compliance management

- Complete pharmaceutical calculations

- Check formulations and prescriptions for accuracy

- Compound non-sterile, sterile & hazardous products

- Complete cleaning tasks

- Liaise with vendors

Pay: From $28.00 per hour

Experience:
• Pharmacy: 1 year (preferred)
• Sterile: 1 year (preferred)
• Kroll: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
• Regulated Pharmacy Technician degree in Alberta (required)
