Senior Java Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer (Lead - Hands-on) to lead a module and develop scalable software solutions. As a key member of a cross-functional team, you will be involved in the entire software development life cycle, from ideation to deployment. The ideal candidate should be adept with both front-end and back-end technologies, development frameworks, and third-party libraries.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with development teams and product managers to conceptualize software solutions.
• Design both client-side and server-side architecture.
• Develop and manage high-functioning databases and applications.
• Write effective and efficient APIs.
• Implement performance enhancements.
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software as necessary.
• Create features and applications with a mobile-responsive design.
• Write and maintain technical documentation.
• Work within the R&D team to continuously improve software quality.
Requirements:
• 5-10 years of experience in Java and J2EE technologies.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Extensive experience in Java/J2EE (Java 1.8 or above).
• Proficiency with Spring, Spring Boot, and RESTful/SOAP web services.
• Experience in developing microservices.
• Knowledge of ORM frameworks such as Hibernate.
• Proficient in working with databases, particularly MySQL.
• Exposure to cloud development platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Experience with front-end languages and libraries (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery).
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Competence in Angular UI development, including Bootstrap, Reactive Forms, HTML, CSS, jQuery, and JavaScript.
• Experience with testing tools like JUnit.
• Familiarity with source control repositories (GitHub/Bitbucket) and build tools like Maven.
• Exposure to Agile software development methodologies.
• Experience in the financial sector, especially in Private Equity & Venture Capital, is preferred.
