Administrative Assistant

Calgary Mobile Teacher INC is hiring an administrative assistant on a contractual basis. Calgary Mobile Teacher INC supports over 250 students in their academic studies, both online and in person throughout Alberta. We are expanding our team and are in need of an individual who is flexible enough to work in a start-up business but also experienced enough to create systems and protocols for our company regarding book-keeping, time keeping, and schedule building. Duties include: Following up with teachers regarding on-boarding materials including but not limited to criminal background checks, vulnerable sector checks, teacher letters, time-sheets, and teacher hours Creating workshops that support teachers in our online scheduling system (VCITA) Logging and communicating around teacher client rosters and cross-referencing time sheets with academic hours purchased Responding to and communicating with the team on a daily and/or weekly basis with updates on registrations Job Types : Part-time, Fixed term contract, Casual Contract length: 3 months Part-time hours: 5 per week Salary : $16.34-$25.00 per hour Schedule: Day shift Evening shift Ability to commute/relocate: Calgary, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Education : Secondary School (preferred) Experience : Front desk: 1 year (preferred) Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred) Administrative: 1 year (preferred) Language : English (required)
