Medical Office Assistant

Duties and responsibilities of the MOA include, but are not limited to : Calling patients to book follow ups and new consultations Triaging patients and taking vitals Scheduling and confirming appointments Welcoming patients and register Providing administrative support to GP's Maintain a clean and neat workspace including waiting area and ensuring the standard is maintained with COVID restrictions in place) Fax and check status of referrals Maintain inventory of products and treatment tools, ordering when necessary Opening and/or closing clinic General office duties including filing and photocopying Offering support and assistance to doctor and nurse And more! Skill Requirement : Language Requirements: excellent command of the English Language, both verbal and written MOA/Unit Clerk certificate Experienced in using Accuro and netcare Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a highly diverse environment Exceptionally strong organizational skills and attention to detail Self-starter with the ability to work under mínimal supervision Excellent follow-up and problem solving skills Excellent medical terminology.
