Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Android TV Developer with experience in designing, architecting, and developing mobile solutions on leading platforms, particularly Android and Android TV. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in integrating mobile apps with web services and external APIs, along with a deep understanding of enterprise mobility architecture.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop mobile solutions, focusing on Android and Android TV platforms.
• Integrate mobile applications with web services and external APIs.
• Define, analyze, and document the Enterprise Mobility Architecture.
• Utilize industry-standard design patterns such as MVC and MVVM, with a solid understanding of SOA, REST/JSON, and SOAP/XML.
• Work with TV libraries, specifically Androidx libraries available for TV devices, to provide widgets for building user interfaces.
• Develop and manage TV layouts, navigation, and controllers.
• Implement the Android Leanback experience for TV devices.
• Expertise in ExoPlayer for streaming videos, including experience with native ExoPlayer for Android TV.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in application development, specifically on Android and Android TV.
• Strong experience with Android libraries for TV devices.
• Proficient in analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in developing reusable artifacts, frameworks, and reference architectures.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
