About the Family

Our clients are a dynamic and active family residing in Mona Vale, Sydney (recently relocated from Singapore). They are seeking a dedicated and experienced nanny to join their household. The family includes four older children between the ages of 7 and 13 years. They also have a friendly 8-month-old puppy named Blue.

The family enjoys an active lifestyle, with a strong focus on outdoor activities such as swimming, football, surfing, and tennis. They value kindness, resilience, and a strong work ethic in their children.

Position Overview

This is a live-out, Mother’s Helper position with an immediate start date and ongoing term. The ideal candidate will be a warm, engaging individual with a strong childcare background.

Hours:

Monday, Tuesday, Friday: 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Wednesday, Thursday: 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Total weekly hours: 24
Hourly Rate: $40 per hour (exclusive of superannuation)

Benefits: Compensated on Public Holidays & Yearly Bonus

Responsibilities:

Childcare: age-appropriate play, reading, and learning; bath time routines.
Light housekeeping: tidying play areas, vacuuming, assisting with parent laundry.
Meal preparation: preparing snacks and meals for the children.
Transportation: driving children to and from activities, appointments, and school.
Additional duties: grocery shopping, parcel collection, and general household assistance.
Note: Between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM on longer days, assistance with chores such as folding laundry and general tidying is required.

Candidate Requirements

Minimum of 2-5 years of nanny or childcare experience.
Certificate IV in Childcare or equivalent qualification.
Current Working with Children Check (WWCC), First Aid and CPR certifications, and a National Police Check.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to drive a family car (over 26 years old for insurance purposes).
