About the Opportunity

The Digital Experience Project Officer is responsible for the content development of Councils new digital experience & knowledge base platform (DXP LG). This role will apply content design principles and user-centric thinking in addressing our customer's online needs in language and format they require.


This role is fixed term, full time for two (2) years.


You will be:

Collaborating on the development of a content strategy and governance model that is scalable across the organisation to deliver user-centric and accessible content
Writing, reviewing, and publishing accessible online content according to human centred content design principles with a focus on making complex language, concepts and processes easy to understand
Evaluating and assessing content from Customer Contact Knowledge Management officer/fact owners/Subject Matter Experts (SME's)
Working with business units to update current content
Identifying gaps in our online content, determining recommendations for remediation, and leading in their implementation

About yourself

A person in this position will need to hold a relevant Bachelor of Communication in a related field, OR be able to demonstrate equivalent related experience. It is also highly desirable for the successful candidate to have

experience in development of customer-centric content
Substantial experience writing, editing and publishing online content for complex, large scale websites
