Job Title

Assistant Manager - Brand Finance

Job Description

Primary responsibilities:
• Work with revenue strategy, digital team and other corporate departments, ensuring information is represented consistently, relating to advertising revenue
• Plan and monitor business transitions are incorporated in daily operations
• Work with sales to setup sales forecast templates for revenue projections
• Ensure timely entries for revenue and expense journals in system
• Collect all relevant data and ensure reconciliation before analysis
• Analyze data through different visualization techniques, prepare financial data models to create accurate revenue reports for management
• Visual presentation of data and information as per requirements of management
• Develop reference materials and/or presentations that inform stakeholders, including dashboards and/or monthly reports that can be distributed
• Guide and support team in daily operations of brand finance team (revenue and expense reporting)
• Respond to regular and ad hoc report requests by leadership for decision-making
• Ensure strong adherence to SLAs and timelines defined for the function
• Proactively, and on a frequent and regular basis, debrief and collaborate with key stakeholders on key findings and proposed responsive actions

Required/ Mandatory Skills
• MBA in Finance/M. Com with 7-+ years of relevant experience
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and Database creation
• Strong knowledge of accounting and proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau
• Strong communication, analytical and reporting skills
• Knowledge of Financial Software – Oracle EBS, PeopleSoft etc
• Good to Have:
• Exposure on Magazine and Digital Advertising Revenue reporting and modeling
