Job Description

Your next role as Senior HR Business Partner will support a global commercial organisation across Australia & New Zealand.

This is an immediate start interim role to support the business with a handover while our client recruits for the permanent position. Based in North Sydney, or could be based in Melbourne. Hybrid WFH 2-3 days per week on offer.

In this role, you will serve as the primary contact for leaders and employees, offering guidance, coaching, and assistance on HR-related matters. You will drive key HR initiatives, deliver timely employee support, and strive for HR excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic guidance on organisation design, talent management, and culture initiatives.
Offer employee relations support, focusing on advocacy, engagement, and performance management.
Collaborate with global HR and Talent teams to execute tailored HR strategies.
Ensure proper handling of employee relations issues, including investigations and resolutions.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data with the highest level of care.
Conduct thorough investigations and provide recommendations when necessary.
To be considered for this role you will have:
Extensive experience in HR Business Partnering capacity, working within a generalist role, with a strong understanding of recruitment, compensation, employee relations, and Australian labor laws.
Experience in white-collar, qualified workforce, as well as with blue-collar, multi-site technicians.
Experience in a large global matrix organisation.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Passionate about employee advocacy and making a positive organisational impact.
Understand and have worked extensively with Australian employment legislation.
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and build a strong HR brand.
Commitment to continuous improvement and innovative HR practices.
Bachelor's degree in a related field.

You must be immediately available between work or on short notice, ready to commit to a short-term contract, with the flexibility to continue on-going as required.
